What Is Walk Away With Wisdom?

Walk Away With Wisdom is a faith-based healing community and resource hub built for anyone healing after a relationship ends. Every resource, every product, and every piece of content on this site was created with one purpose to help you heal after a relationship ends the right way, which is God's way.

This is not a space that will tell you to move on quickly, date someone new, or pretend the pain is not real. This is a space that will sit with you in the hurt, point you back to God, and walk beside you every step of the way until you reach the wholeness He has already prepared for you.

You Are Not Alone

Walk Away With Wisdom Is For...

If any of these describe where you are right now, you are in the right place. This is for anyone.

You just went through a breakup and have no idea how to process what you are feeling

You loved someone deeply and genuinely believed they were the one God sent for you

You are asking God why He allowed this to happen and getting no answers

You are carrying bitterness and struggling to forgive the person who hurt you

You are struggling to forgive yourself for the choices you made in the relationship

You want to heal but do not know where to start or what healing even looks like

You feel like God has forgotten you or moved on from you the same way your ex did

You are dealing with loneliness in a way that feels unbearable and consuming

You are struggling with your identity and do not know who you are outside of the relationship

You have been through multiple breakups and keep finding yourself in the same painful patterns

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Psalm 34:18

Written by David in a season when he was fleeing for his life, this psalm wasn't theory it was testimony. The Hebrew word for "close" implies physical nearness, like someone standing right beside you. God isn't watching your pain from a distance; He is present in the very center of your heartbreak.

Hi, I'm Lisia

I did not create this space from a place of having it all figured out. I created it from a place of having been exactly where you are. I have cried out to God after a breakup asking why. I have carried bitterness, struggled to forgive, and truly believed I would never fully heal.

And I have also experienced what happens when you stop running from the pain and let God meet you in it. Walk Away With Wisdom was born out of my own healing journey and every resource on this site exists because I wish I had something like this when I was going through it.

You are not alone in this. I am walking with you.

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
Psalm 147:3

This psalm was sung by Israel after returning from exile a people God restored after they thought they were beyond repair. The imagery is that of a physician. God does not just offer comfort; He performs the gentle work of restoration, carefully tending to the fractures of the soul until they are whole again.

The Word for the Wounded

Scripture to Carry With You

Verses chosen for the seasons of breakup grief each one held in the context of what it actually meant to the people who first heard it.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:28

Paul wrote this to believers facing real suffering, not minor inconvenience. He doesn't promise that every thing is good he promises that God is working every thing, including this breakup, toward good for those who love Him.

He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart.
Ecclesiastes 3:11

Solomon wrote this as a man who had tasted every form of pleasure and pain. The phrase "in its time" is the key beauty is not denied to you, it is appointed for a season God has already chosen.

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
1 Peter 5:7

Peter was writing to a scattered, hurting church. The Greek word for "cast" is the same one used for throwing a heavy load off your shoulders onto an animal that can actually carry it. Your pain was never meant to be carried alone.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Jeremiah 29:11

Spoken to Israelites in exile people who felt forgotten and far from home. God didn't promise instant rescue; He promised that even in the waiting, His plan for them was good. The same is true for you.

The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.
Exodus 14:14

Moses said this to Israel with the sea in front of them and Pharaoh's army behind. There are seasons when healing requires action, and seasons when it requires stillness. This is permission to stop striving and let God move.

Weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.
Psalm 30:5

David wrote this after recovering from a season of deep grief. "Night" in Scripture is rarely just hours it's a season. He isn't dismissing your tears; he is reminding you they are not the final word.
